Hij is er en hij doet ‘t! Met dank aan mijn vader, die zijn eigen oude kacheltje helemaal voor ons opknapte. De zijkanten zijn bijvoorbeeld helemaal vervangen, die moeten we nog zwart maken met kachelpoets. Er zitten nieuwe raampjes in en de binnenkant is opnieuw bekleed met chamotte stenen. Wat een leukerd is het hé!*

Zoete winterbroodjes bakken
Onze eigen houtkachel brandt nog niet…maar we hebben vandaag wel broodjes gebakken boven een houtvuurtje. We waren namelijk in het Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem.
Ik heb sinds jaren ook weer eens geschaatst, ik kon het nog wel, maar morgen heb ik vast spierpijn :-)
